I wanted to make my family’s famous ‘ginger softs’ for christmas but my daddy couldn’t find the recipe until last night, so i made them today instead! (these cookies are good any time of the year tho so its okie) :3 they are pretty much my favorite thing ever so i thought i would share with my lovelies!!
here is the recipe using the mix from the last post
3 c ginger cookie mix
1/3 c molasses (extra dark please! :3)
bowl of sugar for rolling
preheat oven to 350 degrees. combine mix, molasses and egg in the mixer, then scoop dough balls into bowl of sugar and roll to coat. place on greased baking sheet (or lined with parchment paper) and bake for 10-12 minutes. (the cookies will not spread much so don’t be afraid to put them closer together)
